Slaying the Giants in Our Lives

Posted on February 11, 2018 at 4:46 PM Comments comments (30)
In today's message Pastor Ron encouraged us to face the GIANT SIZED problems we face. With some revelation provided by a shepherd boy named David and a behemoth named Goliath of Gath we gain the courage we need to fight and slay the giants in our lives. I pray that this message speaks directly to your situation. May the Lord add a blessing to the reading, hearing and doing of his holy word.

National Back To Church Sunday

Posted on July 3, 2017 at 11:15 PM Comments comments (52)

Back to Church Sunday is coming up on September 17. We’re having a special service specifically designed to welcome people back to church, so now is a good time to start praying about who you will invite. Eight out of ten people say they are open to visiting church if invited. That’s powerful! Imagine how our community can be transformed if everyone here invited at least one person to come to church.
We’ll have a relevant message on this Sunday called “A Place to Belong,” that will encourage all of us to get plugged in to living life they way we were meant to—with others in authentic community! You won’t want to miss it!

This is the perfect opportunity to invite your friends, family, neighbors and coworkers to join you and grow deeper in their faith, or perhaps encounter God for the first time.

Committed

In this sermon Pastor Ron did a phenomenal job of showing us what commitment looks like. Using Luke 23:44-47 as our main text we journey into the final moment of Jesus Christ before he died on the cross for the remission of our sins. After being falsely accused, after being beaten to a bloody pulp, after bearing the weight of that cross, after being nailed to that cross, after being pierced in his side, Christ looked to the heavens and spoke these words to his Father, "Into your hands I commend my spirit". Then and only then did he give up the ghost. May the Lord add a blessing to the reading, hearing, and doing of his holy word.

In this sermon Pastor Ron focused our attention to our main text in John 19:30 where Jesus Christ said the three most powerful words known to man, "Telestai" which means "it is finished". Having accomplished what he was sent to do Jesus Christ uttered those triumphant words from that cross on Calvary. May the Lord add a blessing to the reading, hearing, and doing of His holy word.
